Having worked for the former Midland Bank plc. for the first eight years of my working life I was ordained as a United Reformed Church minister in 1992 and served my first ministry at Elsdon Avenue United Reformed & Methodist Church, Seaton Delaval, Northumberland. I moved to Cheadle and was inducted as Trinity’s minister in March 2002.
I am married to Judith and we have two sons, Michael and William, both of whom are currently attending Cheadle Primary School.
Alongside my local church ministry I have, since November 2008, been serving as Clerk to the North Western Synod of the United Reformed Church. Our Synod Office is located in Eccles and the Synod spans from Tintwistle in Derbyshire to Carlisle in Cumbria.
